twenty eleven
i'm taking a break from what i call work.
been running around for the past 8 hours and now i can finally pause, but i have no idea what to write.
celebrated my twenty eleven in Penang.
random road trip with bunch of random people from my cyberlife.
the last time i hang out with them was probably in 2005 or 2006.
after i finished my degree, we all went separate ways.
occasionally catch up and meet up for dinner or coffee.
then we would do our own thing for few months, then meet up again.
so, a week before new year's eve we went out for dinner
then randomly mentioned that we should hang out for new year's eve
didn't know they were referring to hanging out in Penang.
planned everything probably 3 days before new year's eve, and Friday we hit the road.
that was how we came about celebrating twenty eleven in Penang.
Penang was nice, as usual.
food was okay, could have done better.
disappointed cos i didn't get to eat nasi kandar beratur
they open at 10pm and both nights that i was there i didn't feel like eating at 10pm.
wanted to try bee hwa, but it was closed.
other than food, we did touristy stuff like went to snake temple.
on the way to snake temple we saw a signboard that says 'rumah p.ramlee, 500m'
we decided to pay a visit to p.ramlee's house.
it was very very very nice!
got to see the old malay architecture which doesn't look anything like my grandma's house.
that was my weekend trip!
today, back to reality.
work...meetings...datelines...
pay bills, eat expensive food at klcc.
blurghhh!
counting to my next holiday trip. errrkk..24 days!
