Happy Birthday Malaysia!

Malaysia turns 53! woohoooo!
although many Malaysians have migrated, Malaysia is still the place i call home.
there are just a lot of things you can only get in Malaysia.
for example: GOOD FOOD!
Malaysia is unique because of its food.
like the radio ad i hear almost every morning..
'if you're not eating Malaysian food, you're talking about food'

i love Malaysia..

the rain, after a long hot day.
the good coffee place, smoking indoor area.
not too hot, not rainy weather.

last but not least, the 1Malaysia thingy.
no matter how crazy it looks from the outside or how the media potrays it, Malaysia is a multi-racial country.
i still have good friends who are Chinese, Indian or Chindian.
if i get the chance to meet my Chinese friends, we do discuss about property.
since he likes to invest, he'll give me tips on where i should park my money.
i discuss about Shah Rukh Khan movies with my Indian friends.
or about banana leaf rice :)

sometimes i do think i have a love-hate relationship with Malaysia.
i love it, but hate it at the same time.
there are many things that the government can do to improve Malaysia so that Malaysia can be at the same level as the other developed countries.
don't know how long it will take but i'll wait.
maybe the new and upcoming generation could help to build Malaysia as one.
rather than making a huha about 1Malaysia all the time, but never walk the talk. pfft!
if only our voices could be heard by those government.
despite all that, i do love this country.

Selamat Hari Merdeka Malaysia!
:)
